Why do men separate but stay married because they don't want to pay child support or alimony?
Is this unusual? For a man to separate but stay married? Because he doesn’t want to pay anything to his family? Do many men stop seeing their kids to avoid paying child support?

Only women do that, not men. They pay either way, and they don’t usually just leave, the female tells him to leave and he thinks he actually has to do it.

first of all if a man is separated it doesn’t mean he don’t pay child support or spousal support. this decision is made by the court. so if this is the excuse that your adulterous boyfriend is telling you he not only lying to his wife he is lying to you. which should come as no surprise.

Additionally you don’t have to have his permission to divorce him. If he does not come around and you "do not know where he lives" you can divorce him through publication for about $600.00. Talk to an attorney.
