If there was no longer any law that made a man pay child support, and what if single mothers could not apply for welfare?

if the concept of church and state is actually to protect government from the church and vice versa…then there must be a role for each in our society…when the constitution was written it was the church that started hospitals, universities, schools, charities helping the hungry, etc…has the government over stepped its boundary by taking over schools, welfare, etc…or is the separation of church and state just an excuse to rid society of religion…after all a government that show no favoritism towards one religion it would be showing favoritism towards atheism…which in inequality issue…

Is it possible for child support owed to be taken from the non-custodial parent’s financial aid and student loan refunds? And if the non-custodial parent is on welfare because of financial hardships would child support be taken from those payments as well?

My boyfriends daughter is 19 about to be 20 and is now pregnant with her 2nd child. She has moved back and forth out of state several times in the last year and has lost several jobs in that time as well. She wants to move back here to NY and collect welfare but in our state they will garnish the parents for child support until she is 21. Is there any way for my boyfriend and his ex-wife to fight this?

I work, I divorce, now I have to give money to a person who is not my family? how is that right?
Women tend to want to be independent, but at the end they want to get alimony. Not all women.

That is like welfare. The government. Gives you money, and you dont have to work. But at the same time you become a useless person.

Women dont understand that these type of alimony laws are just a way for men to show how dependent they are of men.

If by divorce, does you spouse keep up on his child support payments? For those who have illegitimate kids, How many do you have and by how many different men. Do you get support from the fathers and are you on public assistance. How much do you recieve a month in welfare, WIC, food stamps and healthcare. Do you work? Do you get daycare fees reduced of for free? Do you speak spanish to your kids at home? What is your race and were you raised in a single parent home? I am doing a research project for an education class. Any answers would be extremely helpful.

boyfriend and I work allways have, make ok money together about 000 a year. have health benifits live in a 3 bedrm house, only criminal records we have is his ex wife put a restraining order on him while divorce was in process said she was afraid of him when he was mad. restraining order over now. She has custody of the kids we only get them every other weekend. She does not work,( never has) her boyfriend does not work, she is on welfare and trying to get disability (lazy) they live in an apartment for now. If we faught do you think we would get custody? would it help if we were married?
