Don’t they see it as a deterrent to their practices? At one point, their beliefs weren’t as contained, and in Christians accepting today’s laws, they agree to history’s past, which would go against their religious-inspired ideas if they were present at that time. Aren’t they only agreeing to the separation because the government has predisposed that belief, and not their god? Do Christians admit that their religion is limited by the government? And if their bibles say it’s OK, why was a theocracy also held as acceptable?







It’s like some religion taught you that eating healthy is a way to connect to God and than you wouldn’t let atheists eat healthy.

As for religion based marriage, America has freedom of religion. I’m certain there’s a religion or a Christianity that would see gay marriage as valid.
Else, there is no such thing as America having freedom of religion and is thus a theocracy.
