A) Odds are, unless I really, really try, I wouldn’t marry a virgin, so why should she get the so called "honor" that you say comes with being someones first time

B) Willpower is a commodity, and there are better uses for it.

C) It’s in our nature to have sex. I’m 19, peak age anyway.

D) Religion is slowly losing ground. Most teenagers I know are atheists.

E) This whole waiting-advice-thing fucked up my highschool years! Dammit, could have gotten laid that entire god damn time. But noooo, stupid advice anyway…

I’m a christian and my girlfriend is of no religion. She is a wonderful girl who is very positive and supportive of my faith. She is the best partner I’ve ever had – much more wonderful than even christian girls i’ve dated. Despite this, she simply does not share my faith. I would like to hear from other people who have had similar experience, How was it? what issues did you face? has it worked out or was the gap too much….???

.
The world all uses a dating system based on Christianity, using Jesus’s birth as the starting date.

How is that not a violation of Church and State ?

Note: Im not against it, im just wondering why those others, who want to stop all religion from schools, government , etc.

Have never tried to sue over the dating system.

I am wondering what are some of the benefits (social, political) costs, benefits during the separation in 1536 when king henry VIII became the supreme king of the whole religion

Do they not realize that separation of church and state also applies to other religions? Would they like a government run by a religion they’re not part of? No, so why make people of other religions be forced to be ruled by a government of a religion they’re not part of?
If anything, Christianity is out to destroy people’s freedoms.
"Separation was designed to keep the Government out of the church."

Heck, no! It was the other way around. Separation of church and state was to stop religious persecution by the government. That’s what the States was founded upon.

Religion related trial.?

In our town, there is a trial going on soon and I would like to know how you would judge it.
Basically, this couple had a daughter with diabetes. They were very religious (i’m not sure what religion… sorry) and believed that medicine was not natural… or something. So they prayed for their daughter when she was getting sick from her diabetes. The daughter died. They felt that it was God’s will that she died, since their prayers didn’t keep her alive. The couple is on trial for neglect.
What do you think? Is it the couple’s right to do with their child as they wish? Separation of church and state? Opinions!

The phrase, "a wall of separation between church and state," was coined by President Thomas Jefferson in a carefully crafted letter to the Danbury Baptists in 1802, when they had asked him to explain the First Amendment. The Supreme Court, and lower courts, have used Jefferson’s phrase repeatedly in major decisions upholding neutrality in matters of religion. The exact words "separation of church and state" do not appear in the Constitution; neither do "separation of powers," "interstate commerce," "right to privacy," and other phrases describing well-established constitutional principles.

I’ve known several Christians who get upset at the idea of a separation of church and state.

However, these same people were freaked out thinking the current US president is Muslim.

So the separation of church in state is bad until another religion threatens to replace theirs in the state?
These people don’t want other peoples’ religious views imposed on them..Why can’t those opposed to the separation of church and state realize that that is what they are doing to everyone else by insisting that their religion has a place in our laws?

I don’t want this is the Singles & Dating section because I don’t want ignorant responses, but caring support from my friends in this category.

If you see my profile I reference a wonderful boyfriend. Although he still is wonderful and beautiful, I see this tapering off at a suddenly alarming rate.

What have you done to ease the pain in a no-fault mutual relationship ending? When there’s nothing wrong but you have to break up anyway?
I say Regarding Religion because I really do appreciate responses regarding using a belief system to get through things.

Conversely I want to hear from the non-religious for practical ideas in general.
I can offer warm thankful hugs in return at our R&S convention.

I wish to become president someday and i was wondering if i were to legalize gay marriage would it help me serve 2 terms when its time for the presidential election again. Also, what effect would it have on the economy?
Your right about hateful peole and christian churches but the president’s duty is to defend this country and enforce the constitution. The president is involved in politics and not religion. Im a christian/baptist believer but i believe that everyone should have equal rights and i believe that religion should play no part in making decisions for this country (at lest not during MY presidency :] )
