My cousin, who lives in California is in a custody battle with her husband. Though he is surprisingly good with their daughter, he is horrible to my cousin. He is verbally abusive and threatening. When things were at their worst, she met another man and fell in love with him. Her new man is wonderful to the child she already has. Now she is pregnant with his child.
Her husband is telling her he is going to get soul custody now. Could this situation really affect her custody chances, or is he just trying to scare her? She is a great mother and will do anything for her children.

When I say novelty wearing off, I mean, when the passion dies down, they fall out of love, and thus, break up? And we know about infidelity. What do you say? Why or why not, for these two reasons?

Because that is completely false. Sex is an act of love between a couple whether their dating or married.

I have heard that many marriages in America have Prenuptial agreements
I never heard such thing in my old country, where we assume that when two marry, they become one and there is nothing to be agreed upon between the person and himself/herself
I feel that these Prenuptial agreements make marriages sounds like a corporation where two people are together for the benefit of each other and ready to leave once some kind of contract expires, instead of the love and intimacy a marriage should have
So, are the Prenuptial agreements common in American marriages?
Or are they very rare, and people only took notice of them only because their unusual nature?

I don’t want to get one but he does. funny thing is he’s f**king broke. but he thinks once he gets his life started he’s gonna be like millionaire or somethin. i thought this was kinda f**ked up to me being that ive been with him for 3 yrs and in love with him. what should i do? we’ve been together since we were 14 and now were 17. so i need to know if this is fixable or am i wasting my time.
okay im not secretly planning to take his supposed "millions". im just worried that he’s already planning that our relationship is gonna be a failure in the future. and that he really would wanna leave me with nothing. i was actually really surpised when he said he wanted a prenup. i kinda brought it up as a joke but then he took it seriously.
