Has the legal marriage age for Alabama changed? I know that 19 is when your an adult in Alabama but Ive looked and nothing has changed from what I can tell and it seems like you can still get married at 18.
all i want to know is if the age changed dont send me the whole "dont rush into marriage thing"

1) Do you think gay marriage should be legalized? Why or why not?

2) How do you think legalizing gay marriages would affect society?

3) Would civil unions or domestic partnerships be an acceptable alternative to same-sex marriages? If so, what should be the difference between them?

4) In the case of gay couples who have children, how do you think a legal marriage would affect their family? Do you think the right to marry would benefit or harm the children?

I’ve read some stories the last months about countries that have legalized gay marriage, but want to undo those laws.

Hopefully this will never happen, but when new governments are elected, anything can happen. I’m Dutch, I always thought we were very liberated, but even in Holland we have a small Christian political party in our government now, that wants to grant special rights to a few ordained ministers that allows them to refuse to marry gay couples. Usually things like that are just a first step.

Anybody knows what happens to couples that are already married, when such laws would be changed? When legalized marriages become illegal again? Do they remain married, or does all of a sudden their legal marriage contract fall apart?

How can I get a legal marriage certificate from a registrar based on a temple marriage certificate without my husband being present ?

I married before 2 and 1/2 years, but i don’t have marriage certificate. Now before 4 months my husband expired, i want any legal marriage proof or marriage certificate. Can i get marriage certificate or any other marriage legal proof? I am from India, and i am hindu.
