This is really hard for me, so please dont be harsh. I have been married for just over a year now. We have a daughter together and i have a 6 y/o girl as well, she calls him daddy. i cant seem to control myself. its not like i’m sleeping with ever man i see. but i have slept with my ex 2 times and a guy i knew in high school. i cant seem to stop and i dont want to hurt my husband. he doesnt know, but i feel i’m still hurting him. i know this is not good for our children. i am aware that i’m not the best mother, doing this with kids involved. in ever other aspect of parenting i am great. i dont want to hurt anyone, but i know i will not be able to stop. i have always been this way. i thought being married would force me to stop but it hasnt. my husband hasnt done anything wrong really, but we just dont click to begin with. how to i tell him i want a divorce w/o telling him about my cheating. i want this to go smooth for my girls…please help!!!!

see my husband is a forestry firefighter and right now he is out on a fire he just texted me saying that he can’t talk to me only text. do you think that is suspicious?? and to mention he has girls on his crew. he always says he’s not like that (the player type) I think I trust him it’s just the girls that I don’t trust. He called me last night and the night before so I don’t see why he can’t now. the only reason he gave me was that his phone is F’d up. or do you think I am just traumatized from my last relationship?My last relationship was REALLY bad.
The girls on his crew are not "manly" they are like any other well maintained woman it’s just that they are using the gear that they are stuck with. I know the girls and trust me thay are not 100% angels with the stories i have heard about them and men.and when some of you said he shouldn’t even be calling me they do get to sleep at night mind you in tents on the line. and you never know he could be lying to me about some things. I guess it’s just all up to me huh? a big trust issue

If the mother gets a very well-paying job on the other side of the country and the husband refuses to move can he prevent the mother from taking the job and moving with the children? Divorce is most likely imminent.

For those of you who are saying I’m selfish, you don’t know anything about what is going on or what is involved here. I understand your point of view, believe me, and I would make absolutely sure that my girls would see their father on a regular basis. This job would be something very special and meaningful, especially as they get older. The husband is being selfish by expecting his wife to give up a life-long goal, one she’s been working at for at least 20 years, just because he doesn’t want to move. He is a very selfish person in general, BUT a very good father and I would never want to take my children away from him. I’d have to weigh the good with bad and even IF I get this job (it’s a VERY competitive field…but I do stand a reasonable chance of winning) it would even start until this time next year. It would be a very tough decision but it would be kind of similar to getting a job as an NFL football player and not taking it because you couldn’t move.

My husband has been divorced for three years. Divorce papers say he gets to claim youngest girl. His ex went by this for first two years. This year however she claimed both girls. When we filed our taxes they got rejected. We then filed a paper return with the proper divorce papers saying he gets to claim the child. Our tax preparer told us to do this and that if we did we would get our full refund. What will happen to his ex since we did this.

4 years ago i received a call from child services to go in to their office and talk to one of their workers about my daughter. It turns out her mother was using drugs and leaving my daughter with different relatives for weeks at a time i always knew and tried to stop it but courts always want proof as long as i received my visits she was fine they would say well because of the drug abuse they gave me the proof i needed to take to family court and was granted full custody with no visits from her mother till she did everything she was ordered to do rehab and so on at that time my daughter was 7 now shes 12 well 4 years with no contact she bettered her self and cleaned up shes taking me to court for a modification of custody her wanting full custody and now me getting visits on weekends we went to mediation and no agreement i told her i did not want to hand her over like nothing happened in this 4 years my daughter has accomplished alot and i don’t want her interrupted she feels confident because she got her other daughters back from a previous relationship back but the guy did not put up a fight he was better of giving his girls back he says IM married and have 2 other girls here in my home they don’t want there older sister to move out im okay with visits but not moving out what will happen in the first court hearing will it get resolved or is there more court battles till this conflict is resolved will she win does the judge consider her absence taking so long we signed a safety pack thru child services with her agreeint to full custody for me while seeking treatment will it help my case and the letters and reports of child services

What love advice can you give a guy who has had virtually every piece of advice thrown his way, but doesn’t think any of that advice will work because of his own bad experiences with that advice?

EXAMPLE:

Some folks in here are asking for a bit more clarification. Some of the answers in here are exactly what I’m talking about. Some tell me that I should just be myself, but I fear that being myself is a big part of the problem. There’s no denying that I am a strange and unusual individual, and if I show the world that I enjoy being who and what I am, the world (in theory) will appreciate it and like it as much as I. Trial and error shows that that is just not the case at all.
Girls DON’T meet me. I’m FORCED to do all the work if I want anything to even possibly happen.
I DO observe men and women interracting with each other, and apart from acting like a lecherous @sshole (which seems to be the #1 attraction component with women), I can’t determine what I’m doing different from them.

No they won’t. I’ve asked out so many women (friends AND complete strangers) and not one of them worked out. (See what I mean? A piece of advice is given to me, and personal experience tells me that this advice can’t work.)

I’ve used the online dating service "Personals" and sent canned messages to a few girls I’m interested in but I do not get any response. Has anyone used this before and gotten anything? Is this a way of saying "not interested"? There’s a woman that I saw on the service that has me awestruck. Is she real? Do online services plant phonies to draw in customers? If so, have they ever been sued? I once signed up for the service for a 6 month period and didn’t have much luck. I got some emails that were very vulgar. So, bad I reported them. The woman looked like a nice person but they were tramps. I couldn’t believe some of things they said.
