I am getting married in the next month and I am in the middle of what may be a lawsuit where I will be awarded a large amount of money, over 0,000. Although this money is not mine at the time of marriage can I do a prenuptial where he cannot touch this money if divorce or death occurs?
Well I will say I am going into this marriage with children, he doesn’t have any. I am on a fixed income where he is not. Basically, I need some type of security.

I’ve been separated from my husband for a year. I have given him plenty of time to get his stuff together, with no such luck. What I must do now is simply cut the cord and be done. I am on a very fixed income, and I’ve looked into the free help here in my area, but they can’t represent me since he hasn’t physically abused me. Do the online divorces work? Are there any other options?

I have been paying child support for two years straight. I have actually been paying 5 over the amount ordered trying to make up for arrears. My only income is disability so I am on a fixed income. My children also get money from my disability. The total my ex gets per month is 00. Can I count the money she gets from my disability as payment of my child support and send her less out of my pocket? Serious answers only please.
