Say a clay pot is dated. Since radiometric dating involves seeing how much the isotopes have decayed in a sample, wouldn’t that only get the age the clay minerals were on earth as minerals rather then how long it’s been shaped into a pot? How are scientists able to distinguish that?

I am just looking for a list of the different methods showing that the earth is older than 6000 years like dendrochronology, carbon dating, Iodine-xenon dating etc etc etc.
Thank you!

We have been married for 3 years and thing shave been okay like all marriages. We just went through a financial problem that has threatened to tear us apart.
My wife is upset. Ive not been the perfect hubby neither has she been the perfect wifey.
But we do love each other. We each have our own differences.HALLO, LIKE ALL PEOPLE ON THIS EARTH AND LIKE ALL MARRIAGES.
We are in debt too. We both work and i have gotten two extra jobs.
However wifey wants a trial separation. She wants me to move out for 2 weeks. In that time we are not to see anyone. I asked her what if during that time she got close to anyone, she said she will not? She said she needs a break. I then asked how separating will cure our financial problems with money being split? She said she doesnt know.
She says she doesnt feel in love with me anymore. That im pressuring her( i talk to her now may once every 2 days) cause she doesnt wanna talk, and when i talk im telling her how we can make it if we work together. She doesnt want to hear this. To her this is pressure. She seems angry. She even told me she gets angry seeing me.
So I dont understand how a trial separation is supposed to work heal problems? But she has said she will not see anyone and that there is no one shes talking to right now.
I asked her what if after 2 weeks she wants to extend for another 2 weeks, and another 2 weeks… then what? Then she said we dont have to be separated to see other people. She said its possible to see people even when together, so i should not be afraid of a trial separation, as she is not interested in finding anyone.
I call trial separations what they are " TRIAL DIVORCES".
What do you all think?

I know he demanded complete loyalty from his subjects and he argued that the king was god’s representative on earth and that you can’t question his power but did he actually believe in a separation of church and state.

Me and my g/f of 3 years just split up (3 days and counting). I love her dearly and would go to the of the earth for her. I do truely love her. I have 2 boy from a pervious marriage and she has 3 boy which I love dearly. I feel that I let my past get the best of this relationship. I realize my mistakes (holding my emotions in). I was afraid of being hurt again. She wanted us to be a family and get married. I kept putting things off, like dealing with our issues. She started to go to church (10 months) and I didn’t go at all. My boys stop going due to me not going. She said she felt convicted by us living together and not married. I relized that we was going to split and instead of putting it off I started to go to church and was surprized that I like it. Also I seeked a counseling. She said she was not leaving me but to find us. She wants to talk atleast a half an hour everyday by phone (we met on line by the way). She seem happier when we talked. Should I give up or is there a chance.
My g/f moved 6 hours away( where she is from). We talked for the first time last night on the phone. It killed me. I wanted to beg to come home, but I didn’t. She sounds so happy to not be with me. She start her job Monday and looking for a place for her and her boys to live. Everybody I have talk to say let her go, cause the chance of you guys working it out is none. That is why I asked should I let her go or can it work out. I am so hurt and confuses and have no idea what to do. I am losing faith in us. She don’t even tell me that she loves me anymore. Should I believe it is over and move on? I have no idea the way a woman thinks. I don’t know if she has the love for me any more to work it out. It just seems so hopeless. Ladies tell me what a guy should do. I want us to be happy family that we both want. I always wanted marry her. Thanks

If a father never spent a dime on his son. Never seen or spent time with him. Has never been a part of his sons life for the 3 yrs. that he has been on this earth. How does he go about getting visitation rights?

There are like one or two guys, who are making up nonsense about me, and its annoying. I get people asking me "is it true that you…" or "i heard this …" or "how on earth can you have done this..".
I can’t go around telling everyone that I never did that or said anything. It’s really getting on my nerves now. I told the guys who are making rubbish up, to please stop. They are now doing it even more.
What can I do?

Suppose for a moment that before time our Heavenly Mother had an affair with the Music Minister of Heaven. Our Heavenly Father cast her and her lover out of Heaven and banished him to the Earth. In our Heavenly Father’s anger and bitterness he tried to remove every memory of his wife as if she no longer exisited and declared war on he who stole her from him. Our Heavenly Father has written us letters telling us of the evils of our Mother’s boyfriend, what a slut our Mother was and threats of what life would be like with our Mother in an attempt to sway us in the biggest custody battle of the ages. Because our Mother was receiving all of our attention and love, in a desperate attempt to lure his children back, our Father finds a women He thinks is worthy and she bears His child; a child who is used to sway his siblings into choosing to live with their Father. Our problems today as a society are nothing more than the court battles of an ongoing divorce and we are caught in the middle.
Wow, you guys are vicious! You were nicer to the guy who asked if Chuck Norris and Jesus were the same person. Go figure!
