Are there any statistics on the divorce rates of couples who have a big wedding, and those who does not?
I would think there would be less divorce for couples who were wise enough not to waste big money on a marriage.
I don’t know.
Anyone have ideas?
If you are in the military, are a spouse or ex-spouse of a member or child of military family affected by or witness to divorce what are some of the main reasons that lead to divorce. Some theorize that it is the effects of war, but there is no evidence that divorce rates changed significantly when compared to peacetime. I would like to know what the population feel may be the causes.
I know someone that is a military officer. He makes a lot of money and gets shipped overseas a lot. He said that divorce rates in his job are high.
If I was in his situation, I would sign a prenuptial, because marriages for him seem pretty high risk. Even if they love each other at first, the statistics aren’t good. Plus, as an officer, a messy divorce can damage his career. Is this a good or bad idea?
Also, as a woman, would you object to this? Why or why not?
isn’t their divorce rates the same if not higher than non christian couples?
I’m just wondering for those who’ve been married for many many years, how did you do it? With divorce rates so high, I would like some advise on how to have a successful marriage when and if I get married. Thank you
