Are infidelity and novelty of being in a relationship wearing off big reasons why the divorce rates are so high nowadays

When I say novelty wearing off, I mean, when the passion dies down, they fall out of love, and thus, break up? And we know about infidelity. What do you say? Why or why not, for these two reasons?

For instance I was told over 50% of Italian men are unfaithful to their wives, yet divorce rates are low.

I’m doing an article on Marriage and Divorce rates of young people in the military, but can’t seem to find any information or stats that are more recent than 2008. Can anyone help with maybe links or anything?

And i dont mean things like "10 ways to prevent divorce". I mean solutions like marriage counselling and support groups etc. Things that help LOWER divorce rates, and can be somewhat proven. If you know any articles, i really appreciate it!

It seems that US has the highest divorce rate in the world being at 50%+. Im just curious on what the differences between other countries and how their divorce rates aren’t as high as the US. What are they doing that has resulted in less divorce? or Why does USA have the highest divorce? Thank you.

I don’t know how much Divorce Lawyers get but with the high divorce rates of America I bet i’d get alot of clients despite the fact that there’s alot of attorneys lol.

People use sex as an extension of masturbation these days – with no real regard or connection to their sexual partner. If pregnancy and disease couldn’t be so easily defeated with a little bit of latex, would we be forced to form stronger relationships with our sexual partners? Would it lead to greater intimacy? Is the condom the reason divorce rates are so high, and people are so dissatisfied in marriages – with the groundwork for unhapiness being laid (pun not intended) during the "courtship" period?
