1.) How long does it take?
2.) What happens when wanting a divorce?
3.) Does the husband and wife have to be present or is it just the man in court or something?
4.) Can husband be divorced under Egyptian law but still be married under American law if wife refuses to sign divorce papers?
It would be an Egyptian Muslim man married to an Christian American woman in Egypt.

My brother is divorced from his wife whom they have a child together. He has partial custody of his son. In the divorce papers it is stated that she is to meet him half way on trips when he is to take his son. She has yet to do as stated in the divorce papers. She is also not the best of mothers. My brother is a SPC in the Army and has a stable job unlike his ex-wife. How can he fight for full custody of son without having to involve a lawyer?

I have been divorced for about 3 years and it states in my divorce papers that i’m not responsible for the mobile home. I went to purchase something today only to realize it’s still on there. I know its not paid off yet. It can’t be. I really need it off of my credit

A friend of mine has joint physical custody, and is allowed to have his son every other weekend. This was not actually his decision. The wife had divorce papers drawn up along with custody papers together. He was so ready for the divorce to be finished, and trusted her, so he did not read the papers. No, he will never be stupid enough to make that mistake again. He wants to know how much it would cost to have papers drawn up joint legal and physical custody between him and the Mother. If anyone has dealt with a similar situation, or has any information about what it costs please let me know.

My boyfriend and his ex have been separated for almost two years. (The two year mark will be in March.) They are still married due to money issues. They share a child together, but have custody and support in order already through the courts. Does anyone know the divorce laws in Pennsylvania? We all get along great, as weird as that sounds. We even do extended "family" outings together for the child’s sake, and because him and her get along so much better now that they are not married. It’s a crazy situation, but it works. That’s besides the point. Both are ready for finally file for divorce. However, her attorney was going to file, and that would cost them each 5. I didn’t know if they would be able to file themselves easily. I was searching PA divorce and it says that you have to file not only divorce papers, but marriage settlement agreement in the case of custody and support. Does that need to be done even though they already have a court order in place for those two issues? It’s a non-contested divorce, they share nothing besides a child and we all just want it over and done with.
Yes, they are STILL married. However, she is in a serious relationship now for almost 2 years, and so are we for almost two years. The marriage is over and the custody is set. Everything is fine and dandy the way it is and it works.

My friend is going to marry her marine when he gets back but his wife [they've been separated for ever now] still refuses to sign divorce papers. What could be done?
There is no children involved only a childish woman.
