Also, Im heading towards a bachelors degree. Is that the minimum requirement? How much money will I be making with a bachelors degree in the career of becoming a physical therapist through my major kinesiology in California? How many years of trainig are required to become a physical therapist after college and will I be taking any specific tests when going on to become a physical therapist?

My best friend is interested in becoming a physical therapist.She has been to 2 community colleges here in Chicago to see if they offer the physical therapy program but unfortunately they don’t.

I am a college student who is interested in becoming a physical therapist. I have read that students need to obtain a bachelors degree before being accepted into a physical therapy program at a university. What I am wondering is this. Would it be possible to be accepted into a physical therapy program if I first obtain a degree in something completely different like interior design or multimedia art? In other words, does what kind of bachelors degree you have matter when applying to a physical therapy program if you have taken all of the preliminary science classes? Thanks for any answers!
