I know a guy who is really sweet and a good person. I’d be interested in dating him. He has a HS education. However, he’s also a volunteer fireman, volunteer EMT, coaches soccer for little kids, and goes to church twice a week. It’s really important to me to find someone who enjoys giving back to the community and who has God in their life.

However, my parents insist that I don’t date anyone without at least a Bachelor’s degree. Ideally, they’d like me to date only doctors. What do you think?

I want to do individual, couples and family therapy in my own, small home office eventually. I have a bachelor’s degee in psychology, but have no desire to pursue that any further. I hate statistics and testing. I want to get a master’s degree, but I can’t seem to get any real direction. People in psychology tell me to go that route, counseling people tell me to go the counseling route, and social work people swear that it’s easiest to become licensed with a social work degree. I am so confused. I know that after get my master’s, I have to work for a couple of years under supervision in order to become licensed. I just don’t know how to get started.

I have a bachelor’s in nutrition, about 5 years in various human services jobs and an interest in holistic stuff. I want to use my interests and talents in some kind of fun job. I was thinking of doing holistic nutrition counseling but a lot of the schools I find for that seem pretty hokey and aren’t accreditted universities or anything. Any suggestions?

Ok, so we have decided to remain separated. I found out that the "friendship" was definitely more than what he lead me to think. I do believe that they have not slept together, but from reading the text messages they were making plans. I confronted him about it and the answer that was given was that with everything going on between us, things just got confusing between them; nothing more. I find this very difficult to accept. They have been talking everyday for months, and something like that isn’t a blur. But anyway, I know a lot of people who have been married a lot longer and have been through the toughest situations and are still together. I am trying to hang on, but felt it best that we separate to see if being together is what we really want. Now, I know he is still talking to her, and he told me he was going to be doing the "bachelor thing". So now that we’re not living under the same roof and have an understanding that we’re separated, what are the rules, if any? How does this whole being separated thing work??
We do have children, and he told me that he would not be willing to go to counseling

I live in PA and I’m graduating with my bachelor’s degree in Psychology this May. I’m planning to go on for my Masters in Counseling in PA as well. However, after I graduate with that, I may be moving to another state. If I’m licensed in PA, will it be too difficult to relocate to another state (probably SC)?

Those close to Jeter, the noted bachelor and ladies man, say it’s a huge step for him to use the "p" word with a woman. With their wedding rumored to be just 10 months away, will Derek Jeter treat Minka Kelly to a romantic prenup dinner?

How to be a relationship/marriage therapist?

I am considering a career as a relationship/marriage expert, and I want to figure out the best course of action to do so. I assume that a Bachelor’s degree in psychology would be the first step, but don’t know where to go from there. I know that in order to be a practicing psychologist, usually at least a Masters is required, but would like some help figuring all of this out. If someone could give me the course of action that they think is best for me, I would appreciate it.

Thanks ahead of time!

Please read all below thank you!

Ok, I talked to a MI divorce attorney and he told me that he would have to look up the law about me getting alimony, pension, and insurance from my husband of 15 years.

My husband has had a girlfriend throughout our marriage who is 7 years older than I am and when we separated he moved in with her.

I am mentally and physically disabled and I have been receiving Social Security Disability since Jan 2003, and I am unable to work. I have been disabled since birth.

I know that a lady whose attorney made her husband pay for her education. I am taking online classes but my Stafford Loans will be running out within 1 1/2 years from now so can I also have the attorney who I’m thinking about hiring ask for my husband to pay for my education so I can receive my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

He was extremely controlling and he is over 14 years older than I am, and when I did not do what he wanted me to do than he would leave and sometimes take all of my clothes with him including the car and leave me stranded without no money and sometime with little money. He even took ,000 of my unemployment check when I first received unemployment one time it was over ,700, because unemployment made me wait for over 6 weeks to receive my first check. He waited until I took a shower and did this to me. I did report him to the local police and they put an alert out over 50 states to find him.
He left me in Charlotte, NC, that time, he left me in Atlanta, GA, when he left me with little me I think maybe .00 to last for one week. We were living in Atlanta, GA, and working at the CNN Center and Georgia State University. He made me quit my both of my jobs in Atlanta, GA, and move to Indianapolis, IN, where he went when he left me than he waited until I went to work and left and went to Jacksonville, FL. He called that punishment because I would not do what he wanted me to do.

When I reported him to the police in two cities they told me that they believed he must had been on drugs to do things like this.

We have been separated since 10/25/98, because he mentally and emotionally abused me and he use to leave me whenever I did not do what he wanted me to do. Once again, he’s over 14 years older than I am and he thought that he was my father instead of my husband.

I have 4 children but they are not biologically his and I gave them away at birth. My oldest was born before I met him. My other 3 children, was born in May 2000, Oct 2002, and July 2006.

My husband lives with his girlfriend because I talked to him a few years ago and that is what he told me. I called my mother-in-law in Sweden who gave me his telephone number but she called him before I got a chance to talk to him. My Swedish Phd degree Organic Scientist husband makes over 8 times more than what I make. He makes ,000 a year and my Social Security Disability is only ,408 a year.

When I talked to him over the phone in January 2007, he told me that his girlfriend posed as me at immigration office in the state where he lives to get a visa to go back to his country for a visit. He also told me that he had his girlfriend signed immigration documents stating that she was me and that we lived together. This was back in December 2005, when he did this. Before we moved from MI to the south, he had his girlfriend steal my MI ID, my birth certificate and my Social Security number. In Aug 2000, before I got a telephone I had to show prove of my identification with the phone company because my husband’s girlfriend had taken over my identity.

Therefore, do you think like I do that the judge should definitely make him pay me alimony for living together for 15 years and not 3 years.

How can I get a license of physical therapy?

I am a Chinese majoring in Nursing and have got my bachelor’s degree in Medical Science in China. And this fall, I am going to join a PhD program in Rehabilitation Science (not physical therapy) of a university in U.S. But I think it would be much better to have a clinical license in this field. So can anyone tell me whether I can get a license of physical therapy in U.S., and how? Thanks!

What school is known for teaching physical therapy?

I want to get a degree in physical therapy. But it seems I can’t find a college that just specializes or teaches that subject.

I was considering going to Everest College to get a certificate as a masseuse but it seems that it’s A LOT of money just for a certificate. Any advices on getting a Bachelor’s for Physical Therapy. Perhaps in a trade school?

Thank you.
