Is alimony based on net or gross income?
My soon to be ex’s income is never the same. It varies from week to week. Most weeks he grosses over 1000.00 per week and nets nearly 1000.00, sometimes a little less. How will the judge determine the amount?

Alimony is selfish and I don’t understand why men have to pay it. Please get a job!
He will calculate and average out his salary..and it is only based on the amount of years invested..and if there was a dramatic lifestyle change..so if there has been a short term marriage you will get a short term check..we get caught up in that..but if the bills were split all of that is considered..you don’t automatically get alimony bc you divorce there are factors that plays into that so don’t make any big plans and that is not a lot of money weekly to get a big alimony allotment from
1 you have to prove his income 2 you have to prove that you need it 3 i hope you make less then him and 4 a basis has to be established
