How do I get a cheap divorce in Florida?
We lived in NY when we were married so it will be an out of state divorce, if that makes a difference. He still lives in NY but I’m in Florida. He refuses to pay half of the divorce. I guess I have to bite the bullet and pay but I don’t make much money. The cheapest I heard was a place that does the paperwork for 8 but then court fees are an added 0. Any suggestions?
Yeah, I just wanted to add that we do not have an children or assets. Our only issue up for debate is that he doesn’t want to pay.

Most divorce courts have material you can pick up (call your nearest court house), that will tell you how you can get a divorce without a lawyer.
This assumes you and your husband can do this without a lot of drama and the need for a lawyer.
Do the paper work yourself. I did. It wasn’t that hard. Filed last october divorce final middle of january. It would have been faster but I forgot to fill out one form. I filed in Hillsborough county.

YOU CAN GET PAPERWORK ONLINE FOR YOUR DIVORCE. IT WILL HAVE TO BE FOR THE STATE OF NEW YORK THOUGH. JUST TYPE IN NEW YORK DIVORCE AND A BUNCH OF SITES SHOULD POP UP.
