About 15 months ago My husband was arrested for being abusive and was remove from the home. We have been married for 25 years. Have 2 minor children. He is currently unemployed and I am planning to do a pro se divorce. In florida do I have to pay for alimony if my husband was abusive?

An arrest is not a conviction, and since men get arrested when when they are the victims, it doesn’t mean anything, so you should.

I would think not.
no
Alimony is factored in by many things. The fact you have the children pretty much means you won’t have to pay it. The fact he was abusive will probably help your case.
Alimony is not awarded in every divorce you know.
No, alimony is rarely awarded. He will probably be ordered to pay child support to you, however.
most of the time alimony is paid to the spouse who has not worked in the marriage, and it is for a set time frame..like 1 to 15 years depending on how long they are married, under this circumstances i do not think that applies but if your unsure of this than i would check with florida laws you can google them or just ask a lawyer most will give you a free consultation
