My "husband" filed legal separation, his lawyer sent them through the normal mail, not certified. He knows exactly where I live and has my address and send me a 0 check every month. Is this a legal way to serve me. He is in New Mexico and I moved to Washington State he has several family members who live up here if that matters. He is in the military and I have heard the military doesn’t recognize legal separations? Is this true? Thank you for your help.
My task is to right an essay on a time when i experienced a behavioral or attitude change as a result of a conflict. I really can’t think of a real situation, so i have to make one up. If you have just a rough idea of even a very simple situation which fits this prompt, that would be helpful.
Don’t they see it as a deterrent to their practices? At one point, their beliefs weren’t as contained, and in Christians accepting today’s laws, they agree to history’s past, which would go against their religious-inspired ideas if they were present at that time. Aren’t they only agreeing to the separation because the government has predisposed that belief, and not their god? Do Christians admit that their religion is limited by the government? And if their bibles say it’s OK, why was a theocracy also held as acceptable?
I don’t want a divorce but I would like a legal separation…we have problems and will be living apart, but for reasons of child care, need it legally handled. Can I do it myself, can I get forms at the court house or must I buy some package online, and are there residency requirements. I am a stay at home mom, so hiring a lawyer is kind of out of the question. Any help would be appreciated!

I have already filed a travel voucher for per diem/haz. fire/etc…, and have been paid for that, but when will my family separation pay come in? I turned in the paperwork for that at the same time as my travel voucher. Does this money come on a payday instead? It has been two weeks since I filed for it.
I just got a puppy last week and have separation anxiety when I am not around him. I begin to worry that he will run off or someone will see him and break in and steal him. I just worry he might get hurt. Plus I miss him a lot when I am at work. Any advice on how to deal with the anxiety?
I have 4 kids, 10, 8 and 19 month old twins. Recently the youngest twin has started suffering from severe separation anxiety. I cannot leave his side without him screaming at the top of his lungs. The weird part is, I can leave him with his usual sitter Monday - Thursday and he is fine(been going there since he was 10 weeks old), but if I leave him with anyone else he screams at the top of his lungs and is horribly attached when I get home. I feel like I have a 26 pound growth attached to my hip when I am home with him. His twin is just the opposite. I have tried everything I have read online and nothing seems to help. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Some good points have been made. I do try to walk away when he cries. I never come back if I have left the house until I need to. However, the other day, the high pitched scream was so loud, one of the neighbors complained and he would not let the girl that was watching(the daughter of my regular sitter) console him.
