Break-up Advice . Easy 10 points .?
I’ve recently broken up with a boyfriend whom I was with for almost 3 years. I feel like it is officially over and want nothing to do with him anymore. I feel like a chapter in my life has closed and in order to open up a new one I want to make a big change in my style. Any advice on what should I do with my hair or my wardrobe. I have long, curly, thick hair and I dress casual/girly. I want to look older and feel more confident. Any advice ? I’m 18 by the way. Thanks so much !

Just go out with the girls a couple of nights a week.
You dont need to totally change your style,
just buy some more things to add to it.
Like a gorgeous party dress and shoes and purse that will match it.
Get your hair done sometime.
Have fun and you will end up forgetting about your boyfriend and move on.
Your only 18, so you have a lot of more relationships to have!
makeover
wear button ups with pencil skirts and heels ..
hair in a messy bun or a teased side ponytail
when i broke up with my boyfriend, who i was also in a long term relationship with, i went out and got new clothes, shoes, make up, the lot and had a girls night out. i also always change my hair lol, either colour or style, something really dramatic. instead of casual, maybe try glamming your look up a bit, not all the time but just for occasions,. i’d definitley suggest a big girly night out though, they always make me feel better!
hope i’ve helped
get a stylish haircut
I think that the reason you want to make this drastic change is because you want to get rid of everything that reminds you of him. Ask yourself if this is something that you are doing for YOU or as a result of HIM. It is easy to incorporate some nicer dressier clothes into the wardrobe you already have, I would not suggest completely changing everything. As for your hair, with it being curly, you probably should keep some good length on it but maybe get a trim and try either highlights or a new color two shades lighter or darker than what you have now. Again I wouldn’t suggest a drastic change just yet. Play with a few looks, and styles of makeup. You will be surprised at how much you will find that suits you.
Also, at 18, i think that you are still trying to find out who you truly are. If you make a huge change because you are trying to ‘be’ someone else, then you will lose yourself completely.
Glad your mature and ready to live your life. Well if you have curly hair try to straighten it out more often. If you dress casual try buying jewelery it honestly makes a difference in any wardrobe. Have fun living the single life!
Get a more sophisticated short hairdo and wear dressy clothes with matching accessories. Wear dresses and striking high heel shoes more often.
ehem… MAKE OVER! Go get ur hair cut SHORT if its really long and dye it the opposite color of what it is! Then have all ur girl friends come-over for an old fashion sleep over eat junk food and do your makeup and nails and watch funny movies. Maybe even go clubbing if ur into that. Make sure if you change ur style you dress more mature and classy lol dont go grungy or people will be like "poor girl look how she handled that break up" dress sophisticated and you will feel sophisticated and beautiful and realize that you are better off without him!
Go to the Local salon and ask them to do your hair Make sure that they are good. pay attention to the other people there. I dont know what your skin color is but I would ask them to do it to your shoulders and either light brown or a pretty blonde. Not dirty blonde. They’ll make you look good. And with your style. Im not sure what look you’d be going for so..,.. ya.
keep your hair long if its thick and curly but maybe dieit a different color or maybe some side bangs and layers if you sraighten your hair often
if you one o those girls who shop at ae, abercrombie, hollister, etc switch it up to urban outfitters, buckle, bebe, some nicer clothes.
if you dont wear tons of makeup, start.. buy some mac iw ould suggest start to wear more heals and dress up more.. good luck!
whenever I want a change I always try to wear things different from my regular routine. for example, if you wear your hair curly everyday, try straightening it (good straightener is CHI), buy new make-up that highlights your features to give you a new cleaner look, if you wear flip flops and jeans, try wearing heels and dresses. Heels make me feel SO confident. look up the latest fashions in a fashion magazine and pick out what you like, and search for clothes similar to that style. try getting a new hair do too, go search different hairstyles on the internet and pick out one you really like, then show it to your hairstyler.
first, cut your hair. it’s a scary step sometimes, but it will make you feel like a new person. try it in new styles - straight, updo’s, whatever…but if you cut it about shoulder length it will feel very different but will still give you options. Try changing your style too. pick out new jewelry and louder prints. Dress up a little more when you go out - it will give you confidence. Try different makeups and just experiment with different looks. you won’t like all of them, but it will keep things interesting with you for a while. also, smile a lot. trust me it helps.
good luck
get a shoulder length hairstyle, straighten it. (perm) Example: http://www.hairdohairstyles.com/HairStylePictures/displayimage.php?album=20&pos=45 try that but wear your color as a warm auburn.
try http://www.marykay.com and then go to the virtual makeover and try some different color combos. Good luck! Happy Holidays, Love Supagirl.
if you really think that this boyfriend has changed your life so much it has cased YOU to change than you may still want at least some thing to do with him.maybe you just stay your self and ask this boyfriend if you can still be friends
well good dat u’ve forgotten d past ’bout your bf so u have long curly thick hair it depends upon a person if they want a straight look or are happy with their curly hair well if u wanna go for a straight look go for rebonding or just tame ‘em cuz i think your hair are kinda unruly try the garnier fructis sleek and shine system i love it. it makes your hair much more smoother shinier and sleeker and if u wanna look more matured dont go for very girly stuff u cud try skinny jeans and a tight top probably purple and u cud even go for mini skirts they make u look more older and try wearing color contacts i use freshlook colorblends shade amethyst you’ll look more beautiful and use subtle eyeshadows not very bright and wear a black mascara you’ll feel confident hope this helps honey tc.
you shud change your hair color….go get it str8n….umm with clothes i would say just get some newz ones…
