My divorce has been final for about 7 months now. We seperated a year before that. I have a 13 yr/old daughter, 11 & 9 year old sons. The daughter has become quiet defiant in doing school work and the way she treats both her mother and me. She has gone from a straight A student to barely getting B’s. Her best subject, English, is suffering a D and she is blaming her teacher for this. She’s been sick a lot so has missed a lot of school. She refuses to make up school work and has a hard time staying current on what’s due now. She refuses to go to counseling. We tried it once and that didn’t last but a couple visits.
The 11 year old has had times when he’s lashed out at his mother and has at times had a hard time controlling his anger. I’ve talked to him about this and he seems to be doing better. The 9 year old seems to have no real issues…yet.
I would like any ideas on what to do with my daughter and son.

Valentines day is the day after our two month anniversary
i figured that i would get him the DVD of the movie we saw on our
first date then do something sentimental too, but i have no ideas.

To me it hurts. I start to notice more the happy couples walking hand-in-hand or shopping together in the malls and I envy them for their happiness. I see the men in stores buying gifts and flowers for their wives and sweethearts and think how lucky they are to have someone. Yes to some it’s a tacky holiday invented by businessmen to make money. But to me Valentine’s Day serves to remind me how empty I feel without someone in my life. How do you react to it?

I have problems with my skin. It gets dry and I get black and red bumps on my legs and arms. What specific lotion or product should I use to prevent dryness and smooth skin? Do you know what might cause me to have this and do you have any comments and advice you could give me. I would really appreciate your help so thank you

okay, so i was in a relationship with this kid, john last year. [high school] i broke up with him after 3 months and ignored him for a good 5 months. in the summer we started liking each other again, but problems arose when i found out his best friend liked me and that he had sex over the summer..(i was shocked.. but its not because of being prude) i ended up not caring and his best friend went out with my good friend. so we went out again, secretly, for 3 months, but officially ..only two. i then had a thing with this senior but it didnt work out in the end (after we broke up the second time).. and as that was going on , john found a girl.( a month after i broke up with him) i wasnt bothered at the time because i was distracted by the senior kid. now that thats over i really notice it now..weve made it clear that we wanna be friends, i do everything that a friend does, but honestly now i see their relationship. the only weird thing is sometimes i feel like he still really likes me but he doesnt dare show it. others say the same but you never know maybe its a misinterpretation.. and another weird thing is when we were going out we used to call each other and have 3 or more hour conversations and recently hes called me just to talk about stuff and occasionally he compares his new one to mine.. he even said he felt a little sad that he cant have more than an hour conversation with his new gf. i honestly dont know what to do now, whether i should completely ignore him again because its starting to hurt, ignore that and just be friends or use the summer to find someone new.. or another alternative? … please i need advice and it could really make a difference in my life.. thanks guys =)

If I file for a divorce and my wife does not sign the papers to give me the divorce what do I do?
I live in Texas. Also if she does not sign how long will I have to wait before I am granted the divorce without her signature?
