My wife and I were married in China when we were Chinese Citizen. Both of us are now US citizen and living in California. Shall we file and get divorce in China or in the States? What’s the easiest (cheapest) way to get divorce for either case. We have no kids and going for non-contested divorce.

The mother of my kids has every other weekend visits with our children. Is it against the law in Virginia to live with or have ‘sleepovers’ with opposite sex while having visitation with kids?

Husband finds out about wife’s affair in Aug. 2008. Gets mad and throws her out. She moves in with sick daddy. He waits until Feb. 2009 and files for a legal separation. Now she has some mooch boyfriend living at dad’s house. Dad quite angry , but dying of cancer. Questions : 1 Why file for legal separation rather than a divorce ? 2 Is there any advantage either way ? 3. Can the husband sue the mooch boyfriend ?
How long will it be till she iis divorced ?
To lorisam 7. Why even file that if they are in fact living apart ? She is married to one man and living with another. Is that not allienation of affection? Or is she just trashy ?

If both parents are involved 50/50 in the rasing of the child and you divorced when the child was a baby are they still affected by divorce? Like when they get older do they do they miss not having both their parents around together?

My husband’s ex-girlfriend is re-opening their child support case that was originally opened in 2006. I want to attend the mediation and/or court dates, but not sure if I can legally be there and/or participate since I am not my step-daughters guardian or have custody. Has anyone been in this situation? What did you do?

I’ve been dating someone for a while at college and we are now home for the summer away from each other. We spent every day and night together at school and I was wondering if you can go through depression or some sort of separation anxiety from no longer being with that person all the time.
